I know its been a while almost a whole year, but I just haven't found time to sit down and record anything new lately. Doesn't mean I haven't stopped playing I have tons of new stuff, just not recorded. Here is rough run through of one of my new tunes called December Rain, it's an instrumental. I haven't added it to the music page being its not done yet

I couldn't sleep so at 3am I completely wrote this song from scratch. Used the capo on it, never played outside of standard tuning before, but I might make it a habit.

I love the guitar in it and the Elliott smith style brought forth.

I re did one of my tunes last weekend, added an intro using my newly acquired wah pedal, take a listen its good stuff. I'm still trying to figure out the whole pedal thing.

I ordered the M-Audio Fast Track pro the other day, via a reputable online retailer. I've been using its little brother for the past year the fast track which was great.

Being that I upgraded my mic like I mentioned before I needed to upgrade my interface, hopefully next week it will come in, and I can start recording some new material with an extremely high quality sound to it. I also snagged a Jim Dunlop wah pedal dirt-cheap. Which should make for some unique sounds.

I just spent some quality time finishing up some more pictures for the photography section, some old some new. A few of them have been on the various other reincarnations of this site, some not. Take a gander.

Nothing just yet…

I picked up a condenser mic the other day to capture some really high quality noise. Being that it requires a phantom power source and my current interface doesn't support it, its pretty much useless, and I don't really want to put anything else up unless it sounds as good as I can make it. Until I can scrounge up the funds to upgrade my interface, all I can say is enjoy the older stuff, as for the future I can predict things will get harder, faster and louder with a touch of acoustic from here on in.

I'm also debating about trashing the Manifestos all together, it seems all my writing now a days goes into my music, I haven't sat down and wrote anything substantial in years that hasn't turned out to be a idea for a song. The majority of the stuff up there right now is almost 5 years old, well see though.

The story goes, a few nights ago I was messing around with the site, and it struck me I didn't like the look or the functionality of it anymore. Maybe it was just the fact it was 2am and I was a zombie that couldn't sleep or maybe it was just time for change, but something had to be done. So I sat down and about 2 hours later came up with the new layout.

From my standpoint I think it's more artistic, it represents more of how the site should flow based on the content I publish, I really like how it turned out.
